Enrollment We maintain an extraordinary student:teacher ratio of 9 to 1, which you will not find in any other summer program in the area. Conservatory enrollment caps at 60 and every student is cast. The group of 60 will be broken into smaller groups to ensure differentiated instruction so that each student gets personalized training in voice, acting, and dance.
A students cannot be officially enrolled and attend classes until all fees are paid in full. Students will be enrolled on a first-come, first-served basis, and auditions are held the first week of the Conservatory.
Tuition Full tuition of $550 is due at the time of enrollment. Tuition covers the cost of Broadway scripts and royalties, university facility fees, theatre rental, sets, props, lighting, sound, video, costumes, and the stipends of instructors, professional designers, and staff. It does not cover lunches or tickets for final performance.
Refunds Because budget planning must be made prior to the opening of summer session, tuition can NOT be refunded for applications withdrawn after June 19th. Students who withdraw prior to June 19th will receive a refund of tuition paid minus a $75 administrative fee.
Late Pick Up Daily rehearsals and classes end at 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. Students 18 and under must be picked up by 1:15 p.m. After 12:15, parents will be charged $1.00 per minute for childcare unless they have made prior arrangements with the dean of students.
Attendance Theatre is interdependent by nature. The success of the Conservatory and our summer production are extremely dependent on attendance. Therefore ALL CAST MEMBERS MUST BE ON TIME. One person's tardiness can force an entire cast of twenty or more people to start late. Students who must be absent or tardy should call or text Dean Stephanie Jauregui in advance at 760. 899-2542.
Lunch/Snacks Students may bring their own snacks to conservatory to eat during mid-morning break. We recommend students eat something substantial before coming to conservatory.

Parents may not park or idle along the red zone of the driveway leading up to the circle, as it is a fire hazard.
